This workshop is a practical, anatomy-informed experience designed to help participants understand, prevent, and reverse the effects of “text neck”, the chronic forward head posture associated with prolonged device use. By unpacking what’s really happening in the body, participants will learn how habitual screen use alters the alignment of the head, neck, and upper spine and what they can do about it!
We will work to reposition the head over the ribcage for more efficient load distribution, increase thoracic mobility to reduce strain on the neck, and activate postural stabilizers of the core muscles for lasting support. These improvements will be integrated in to movement patterns that improve posture and breathing, daily life activities, and overall energy.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who spends time on a phone or computer and feels the effects of neck stiffness, headaches, shoulder tension, or fatigue, but it’s equally valuable for movement professionals looking to deepen their understanding of postural patterns in the digital age. Participants can expect to walk away not just “standing taller,” but thinking differently about how they hold themselves, equipped with tools to create sustainable alignment, reduce pain, and restore a sense of ease in their bodies.

On the day of the workshop, go to the workshop within our Live Classes or click the link directly in one of our newsletter emails. Look for one of the blue videocamera buttons that says "Join Zoom."
